Equatorial Traders Ltd is a family owned trading company established in London in 1991.
The company specialises in sourcing green coffee from across the coffee belt offering our customers a personal and customised service from crop to cup.
The company is currently run by the 4th generation of a Gujarati family who began trading in Zanzibar during the early 1900’s.
The previous generation was focused on coffee in Tanzania. During the 1980’s they became the country’s largest green coffee exporter and just a decade later had built more than 25 washing stations; revolutionising the processing and quality of the coffee produced in Southern Tanzania.
Today the company operates from new purpose-built offices in the vibrant and historic King’s Cross quarter of Central London providing bespoke coffee solutions to a global client base.
